Who is responsible

Anything concerning your personal data goes to that address. It lands in our own inbox, and we answer it ourselves.

What happens when you open a page

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. and delivered from their Frankfurt region. Like any web server, it logs each request: the page asked for, your IP address, the time, your browser and the page you came from. Vercel keeps those logs briefly, to run and secure the service. We do not combine them with anything else and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Every video, image and both brand fonts are served from this domain. Nothing is fetched from third-party servers, so opening a page tells nobody but us and our host that you were here.

Cookies

One, and only if you use the language switcher: “lang” remembers whether you want English or German, and expires after a year. Nothing else is written to your device — no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no cookies from anyone else.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site keeps working; it simply forgets which language you chose.

How visits are counted

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views. It sets no cookie and recognises a visit through a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so nobody can be followed from one day to the next, let alone onto another website.

Google Analytics 4 records which pages are read, which case studies are opened, and whether someone clicks the telephone number, writes an e-mail or sends the contact form. It runs with browser storage switched off, so it sets no cookies either. Google Ireland Limited processes the data for us; IP addresses are used only to derive an approximate location and are not stored. We look at it to see which work interests people — not to recognise anyone.

The contact form

What you type — your name, your e-mail address, a telephone number if you give one, and your message — is carried by Resend Inc. to our inbox at info@ragettli-creation.ch, which is hosted by Hostpoint AG in Switzerland. Delivery reports pass through Amazon Web Services in Ireland.

We use it to answer your enquiry, and for nothing else. Messages stay in the mailbox while the matter is open and afterwards for as long as business correspondence has to be kept. There is no newsletter and no mailing list; your address is never passed on for advertising.

Data that leaves Switzerland

Vercel Inc., Resend Inc. and Google are American companies. Since 15 September 2024 the Swiss Federal Council recognises the United States as offering adequate protection for companies certified under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. In practice most of the processing stays in Europe anyway: pages are delivered from Frankfurt, mail reports from Ireland, and the inbox itself is in Switzerland.

Links to other places

The links to Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube are ordinary links. Nothing from those services is embedded in these pages, so they learn nothing about you until you click. From that moment their own privacy terms apply, not ours.

Your rights

You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its being processed. One e-mail to info@ragettli-creation.ch is enough; we may ask you to confirm who you are before we answer. You can also turn to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.

The map on the contact page

The map is drawn on this site from map data by OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Nothing is loaded from an outside map service, so opening the contact page tells no one that you did.

Changes

If this site starts doing something else — a booking calendar, a newsletter, a different way of counting visits — this page changes with it. The date at the top says when it was last touched.
